Empty Carriage

They walk down the street- faces reflecting a calmness so unfamiliar to me. Little eyes looking up at them; unknowingly relying upon their presence. We share the same planet, yet I feel upon another. To know the warmth of a soft breath upon my neck and the soundness of sleep upon my breast is no more than a mystery. Time does not cure all wounds of the heart when the soul remains unfulfilled. My eyes turn to the sky and I wonder why I am on a path that no longer fits my feet? Like a flower awaiting spring so it can burst forth with all its splendor, color and life so lies my love- dormant within the depths of my heart yearning to burst forth and be poured upon another. I push my carriage on the sidewalks of life and peer into it; hoping to see love gazing up into my eyes; unconditional, pure, beautiful and magical- only to find the carriage empty. © Ellen M. When the sun comes up on Easter Day, Folks dressed in new outfits will be on display. Little Jane’s bright yellow dress has a big white bow, Her new shoes hurt but she won’t let her pain show. Brother Jimmy’s new suit is a young boy’s worst fear, He much rather dress in casual jeans type of gear. Mom bought a new outfit its two shades of pink, Dad saw how she looked and gave her a wink. The hand colored eggs have been hidden from view, The children will find them in the grass wet with dew. They each have a huge Easter basket to hold all their loot, Jimmy can’t wait to change out of his Easter Day suit. Jelly beans and chocolate Easter bunnies the children desire, Mom hid them out of sight just under the wire. Jane’s Easter basket is full, but not her tummy, The ham’s on the table and it sure looks yummy. Little brother heads to the kitchen to peak in the pans, But mother yells just in time – please wash your hands. The family sits down for Easter Day dinner, Mom thinks the yams will be a sure fire winner. The green beans and carrots are passed plate to plate, The kids want to eat until Dad says – not yet please wait. I had my own Easter basket filled to the brim, But my husband found it so I gave it to him. He ate most of the goodies except for just one, He saved me the chocolate bunny, Happy Easter everyonel. A NAUGTY LITTLE POEM??

I’m sure you can imagine As plain as you can be The place is Picadilly The player He and She She whispered “Will it hurt me?” “Of course not” answered he “It’s a very simple process, You can rely on me.” She said “I’m frightened, I’ve not had this before. My friend has had it five times. And said it can be sore.” Then finally contented Laid back and relaxed a bit Quickly and readily he bent over her And then he started it It was growing rather painful Tears formed in her eyes It was hurting quite a bit now It must have been quite a size “Calm yourself,” he whispered His face was filled with a grin “Try and open a bit wider So I can get it in”. “It’s coming now,”he whispered. “I know.”she cried in a bliss Feeling it deep within her now She said “I am glad I am having this..” And with final effort She gave a frightened shout. He gripped it in anguish And quickly pulled it out. She lay back quite contented Sighed and gave a smile She said,” I am glad I came now You made it worth my while.” Now if you read this carefully The dentist you will find… Is not what you imagined It’s just your dirty mind!! Christmas night

For me a this would be one awesome night for Christmas. To have the fields and the land before you all covered in snow with just the stars guiding you along the way with the air cool and crisp. Oh but then something happens i look around and smell something so bad i put my hand to my nose and try to get rid of that smell i look over at you and there you sit with that big ole smile you have for granny on your face. Then i know where that terrible smell has come from you have messed your diaper huh naughty little girl you are.And here we were having so much fun riding in the hay wagon with all these people singing Christmas carols well guess what your going to get changed in front of all these people because it won’t be good for that bottom to stay in a messy diaper on this cold night Minnie
